FAQ
Questions? We've got you covered.
Answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners across North Atlanta.
Is North Atlanta water really that bad?+
Most municipal water in the North Atlanta area is safe to drink, but it commonly contains chlorine, chloramines, and hardness minerals that affect taste, skin, hair, appliance life, and plumbing. Private well water in the region often has iron, sulfur, or sediment.
What's the difference between a filter and a softener?+
A filter reduces contaminants like chlorine and sediment so your water is cleaner and tastes better. A softener specifically removes hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) that cause scale, spots, and dry skin. Many homes benefit from both.
Do I really need a whole-home system, or is a drinking water system enough?+
It depends on your goals. If you only care about drinking and cooking water, a dedicated drinking water system may be enough. If you also want to protect your appliances, get softer showers, and reduce chlorine everywhere, a whole-home system is the way to go.
How long does installation take?+
Most residential installs are completed in a single visit — typically 2 to 4 hours depending on the system and your plumbing configuration.
How much does a system cost?+
Every home is different, so we quote after testing your water. We'll give you transparent pricing up front and never pressure you to buy. Financing options are available.
Do you service systems you didn't install?+
Yes. We service most major brands, handle filter changes, and can retrofit or upgrade older equipment.
What areas do you serve?+
We're based in Woodstock, GA and serve most of North Atlanta — including Canton, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Kennesaw, Marietta, Cumming, Johns Creek, and surrounding communities.
Is the water test really free?+
Yes. The in-home water test is genuinely free, with no obligation to purchase anything.
